Christopher Vinson

Christopher “Curley” Vinson died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, as the result of an accident on U.S. 61 South. He was 19.
Mr. Vinson had lived in the Vicksburg and Port Gibson areas all his life. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Vicksburg and worked as a roustabout for Hercules Offshore Inc.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria Edna Rae Vinson; a grandmother, Patricia J. Boler; and a grandfather, James F. Vinson.
He is survived by his father, Larry C. Vinson of Vicksburg; his mother and stepfather, Angie and Richard Bufkin of Port Gibson; his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Berryhill of Hattiesburg; his maternal grandfather, Harold Boler of Vicksburg; his paternal grandmother, Betty Vinson of Vicksburg; one sister, Morgan Vinson of Port Gibson; a stepsister, Amanda Bufkin of Pattison; and a stepbrother, Richie Bufkin of Pattison.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg. Burial will follow at the Beard Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Ponder, Jamie Moore, John Hart, Jimmy Hart, Dewayne Wooten and Perrie Wooten.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Hasty, Tommy Berryhill, Drew Beard and James Davidson.
