Cross Country: WC teams finish third

Warren Central chalked up a pair of top-10 finishes Saturday at the Vicksburg High meet in Bovina.

Condrea Collins finished third in the girls’ race with a time of 16:51.64, while Walter King was eighth in the boys’ race in 17:18.45. Both the Vikings and Lady Vikes were third in the team standings.

Mia Martinson and Elizabeth Gaillet of St. Andrew’s took the top two spots in the girls meet to propel the Lady Saints to a three-point victory over Madison Central. Warren Central finished third, with 65 points.

On the boys’ side, Madison Central’s Adam Rutti and Lee Musely finished first and second as the Jags beat St. Andrew’s 26-34. WC was third with 146 points and Vicksburg was fourth with 187. St. Aloysius was fifth.
