Miss Israel, Mr. Clark to exchange vows Nov. 8

The engagement of Jennifer Lynn Israel to Daniel Joseph Clark, both of Columbia, Miss., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8, 2008, at First United Methodist Church of Columbia. A reception will follow at the Columbia Auction Gallery. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Israel is the daughter of Jennings and Lisa Gilmore of Columbia and Ricky and Robin Israel of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of John D. Sr. and Ouida McDaniel of Columbia and the late Calvin J. and Ruth Israel of Vicksburg.
Mr. Clark is the son of William Joseph and Jan Clark of Columbia. He is the grandson of Paul and Nan Clark and the late Grady W. and Joyce Dillon, all of Columbia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Columbia High School, where she was a member of the Dusty Club and Crown Club. She was named a Phi Kappa Sweetheart and was chosen a class favorite, senior beauty and homecoming maid.
Miss Israel graduated in May from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a degree in fashion merchandising and marketing and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Columbia High School, where he was a member of the Wildcats baseball team. He attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La., where he was pitcher for the Demons baseball team and was selected All-Southland Conference pitcher.
Mr. Clark is a loan officer for Citizens Bank in Columbia.
