Willie C. Trentacosta

Willie C. Trentacosta died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 89.

Mrs. Trentacosta was a native of Leaksville, Miss., had lived in Slidell, La., for a number of years and moved to Vicksburg in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Walter Gibson, Arthur Burlison and Bernard Trentacosta; and one sister, Marcella Fleming.

Survivors include three sons, James Gibson of Pearlington, George Gibson of Jackson and Charles Lee Gibson of Ocean Springs; two daughters, Mildred Stauts of Vicksburg and Barbara Huffmaster of Grand Bay, Ala.; one brother, Curtis Lundy of Leakesville; one sister, Hartance Hearn of Fort Valley, Ga.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Chapel in Vicksburg with Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Glenwood Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Mike Stauts, Robbie Stauts, Greg Stauts, David Stauts, Jason Huffmaster, Steven Gibson, Church Gibson and Ricky Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of S&S Automotive Shop.
