Bailey Stanton died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at his home. He was 68.

A native of Colt, Ark., Mr. Stanton lived in Glen Allan for a number of years and had been a Vicksburg resident for the past three years.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Stanton; two brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by one daughter, Susie Dickerson of Vicksburg; two sisters, Geneva Landry of Shelbyville, Ky., and Linda Joswick of Gowen, Mich.; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan with the Rev. Jimmy McLendon officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home of Vicksburg.
