Vicksburg man held here for MDOC|Crime

A Vicksburg man was being held in the Warren County Jail this morning for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Reginald Scott, 21, 922 Polk St., was arrested for violating his probation.

Three thefts reported at city addresses

Three thefts were reported to Vicksburg police.

• A Dell computer valued at $998 was reported missing at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday from the 1700 block of Vicklan Street. The burglar broke in through the window, said Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams.

• A 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $600, an RCA DVD player valued at $40 and hot wings valued at $5 were reported missing at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday at Ridge Apartments, 420 Lake Hill Drive.

• A Hobo purse valued at $400, a wallet valued at $200, a gold bracelet valued at $500 and $6 were reported missing at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday from a grocery cart at Kroger, 3405 Pemberton Square Blvd.

Pattison woman held on forgery charge

A Pattison woman was arrested Wednesday at 1:31 p.m. at Best Value Rental, 1904 Clay St.

She was charged with forgery.

Margie January, 43, 177 Columbus St., was in the Warren County Jail on a $7,500 bond, said Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams.
