Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pearson Arnold of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Catherine, to Marcial Davidson Forester III. Mr. Forester is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcial Davidson Forester Jr. of Jackson.

Miss Arnold is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anthony Abraham and Mr. and Mrs. James Davis Arnold, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Forester is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edmund Johnston Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Marcial Davidson Forester Sr., all of Jackson.

The bride-elect graduated from Jackson Academy in 2003. In 2007, she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Mississippi. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Chi Omega fraternity. 

Miss Arnold is in her second year at the University of Mississippi Physical Therapy School.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. He graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in history from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.

Mr. Forester is a contract title abstractor.

Vows will be exchanged Nov. 22, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
