Collins strong again at St. Andrew’s meet|CROSS COUNTRY

Warren Central’s Condrea Collins posted her fourth top-10 finish of the season, coming in sixth at the St. Andrew’s Invitational at Choctaw Trails in Clinton.

Collins crossed the finish line for the 4K run in 16 minutes, 46.36 seconds. Teammate Shannon Richter was 28th, in 18:06.88, as the Lady Vikes placed eighth in the team standings. Cicily Chiarito was St. Aloysius’ top performer, placing 39th with a time of 18:34.79.

St. Andrew’s won the girls’ meet with 51 points. Clinton was second with 87 and Oak Grove as third with 88 points.

Warren Central’s Walter King was the top Warren County runner in the boys’ meet, coming in 23rd place with a time of 18:21.17. St. Al’s John Ingram was the next-highest finisher from Warren County, placing 52nd with a time of 19:51.99. Vicksburg’s Kyle Davidson came in 62nd, in 20:17.09
