* Southern Miss safety Chico Hunter (Warren Central) had three solo tackles, two assists and one pass breakup in a 24-7 loss to No. 15 Boise State on Saturday.

* Millsaps linebacker Marcus Stokes (Vicksburg High) had two solo tackles, one assist, and one-half sack in a 46-26 win over Centre College.

* Millsaps defensive back Marcus Harris (VHS) had one solo tackle, two assists and an interception in the win over Centre College.

* Delta State defensive back Garret Williams (South Delta) had one solo tackle and two assists in the seventh-ranked Statesmen’s 21-14 win over West Alabama. DSU linebacker Jesse Pedyfoot (Warren Central) assisted on one tackle.

* Louisiana-Monroe defensive back Otis Stamps (WC) had one solo tackle and three assists in a 37-29 loss to Arkansas State.

* Southern Illinois running back Larry Warner (WC) carried the ball seven times for 67 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown, as the Salukis, ranked 15th in Division I-AA, routed Indiana State 60-7. Warner also caught one pass for 6 yards and lost one fumble.
