Troy O. Martin III died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at his residence. He was 52.

Mr. Martin was a senior project archaeologist with SURA Inc., archaeology consultants with Cultural/Heritage Resources Management and Historic Preservation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Bailey of Vicksburg.

A private burial is planned under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
