Mary Elizabeth Bryant and Archie Plump, both of Vicksburg, will be married at 6 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A reception will follow at St. Mary’s Center. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Bryant is the daughter of the late Jim and Fannie Richardson of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Zed Reed of Vicksburg.

Mr. Plump is the son of the late Leon Sr. and Pearl Plump of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Henry and Mattie Watkins of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was named Class Favorite and was a member of the marching band, yearbook staff and newspaper staff. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Utica Junior College.

Ms. Bryant is head cashier at County Market.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School. He received an Associate of Arts degree from Utica Junior College and attended Alcorn State University.

Mr. Plump is a road crew supervisor for the Warren County Highway Department.

The Rev. Malcolm O’Leary will officiate at the ceremony.
