THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Carleen Wood Clore died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at her home in The Woodlands, Texas. She was 80.
Mrs. Clore lived in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for 40 years before moving to Vicksburg. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edward Clore.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Clore and Alton Clore, both of Myrtle Beach; four daughters, Rita Richardson of Vicksburg, Brenda Starling of East Bend, N.C., Judy Atkins of Mt. Airey, N.C., and Peggy Andrade of The Woodlands; two brothers, John Wood and Foster Wood both of Walkertown, N.C.; four sisters, Ruby Butner of Winston-Salem, N.C., Joan Brown, of Yadkinville, N.C., and Edna Mondragon and Linda Mondrago, both of Monterey Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be a 3 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Chapel with Jeffery Ready officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the service Monday at Glenwood Chapel.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Robert Richardson IV, Jack Jackson, Robert E. Richardson, Mathew Clore, Joseph Clore, Robert E. Richardson Jr. and Josey Johnson.
