John Ingram finished fourth, and Chris Ingram 13th, to lead St. Aloysius to a second-place team finish in their division at the Pearl Invitational on Saturday.
The Ingrams were two of five St. Al runners to place in the top 21. Blake Haygood (14th), Rodrick Cauthen (20th) and Nathan Fordice (21st) were also among the top performers of the day. Ingram posted a time of 20 minutes, 8 seconds.
Carthage finished first in the team standings, and Vicksburg High was third. Caleb White placed 10th for VHS with a time of 21:02, and Kyle Davidson was 12th.
St. Al’s girls only had four runners, not enough to qualify for the team trophy, but three of them did place in the top 20 — Anna Haygood, K.K. DeRossette and Ann Farrell Cauthen.
