Vicksburg Police Deputy Chief Richard O’Bannon tells seniors about the Yellow Dot Campaign during a picnic sponsored by the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce. The campaign is a program promoted by TRIAD, a senior citizens group, to encourage those 50 and older to place a yellow sticker, like the one O’Bannon is holding, in their vehicle’s rear window. The sticker indicates to emergency personnel that medical and other information is in a folder in the car. Yellow Dot stickers and folders can be picked up at the Vicksburg Police Department on Veto Street or the Vicksburg Senior Center, at South and Walnut streets.
