Tinia Hope Shockley

GRENADA — Tinia Hope Shockley died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Graceland Health and Rehab Center in Grenada. She was 94.

Born in Lockesburg, Ark., she was the daughter of the late William J. and Lillian Holt Wise.

Mrs. Shockley was a founding member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a member of the Needlework Guild, a member of the Garden Club, and she was on the Board of Community Concert for many years. She was a teacher and homemaker in Vicksburg until 2001 when she moved to Grenada to be near her daughter.

She is survived by a son, William Gray Shockley of Brookhaven; a daughter, Becki McDougal of Vaiden; and two grandchildren, Kelly Rinehart of Corinth and Andrew McDougal of Atlanta.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Reiber officiating. Visitation will be at Fisher Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Monday until the service.
