Alice Faye Whitehead of Vicksburg, bride-elect of Dr. Michael Barry Ellis of Port Gibson, announces their wedding plans for 11 a.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at Immanuel Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Whitehead is the daughter of the late Ralph and Edith Estes of Lakeland, Fla.

Dr. Ellis is the son of the late Nicholas Michael Ellis and Naomi Jane Spencer Ellis of Port Gibson.

Billy Brumfield and Jason McGuffie will officiate at the ceremony. The bride and groom will be joined at the altar by their children.
