Gun, jewelry, phones among missing items

Several items were reported stolen to Vicksburg police.
* A Phillips DVD player with an unknown value was reported missing Monday at 6:17 p.m. from the 1900 block of Sky Farm Avenue.
* A 9 millimeter Ruger, a diamond ring valued at $700, a diamond ring valued at $1,300, a mainstream portable DVD player valued at $100 and a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $1,300 were reported stolen Tuesday at 12:21 p.m. from a home in the 2000 block of Main Street.
* Two Nokia cell phones each valued at $150, a Winchester 12-gauge shotgun, a Mossberg target rifle and $5 in coins were reported stolen this morning at 12:28 from the 1100 block of Warrenton Road.
* A 30.06 Remington rifle valued at $500, a Remington shotgun valued at $450, a Marlin 30/30 rifle valued at $375, an SKS rifle valued at $150, a 50-caliber muzzle loader valued at $200, a pellet pistol valued at $50, a Remington .22 magnum valued at $225, a Nintendo Wii and controller valued at $550, a Nintendo DS valued at $130, a Kodak Easyshare camera valued at $250, $120 in cash, a jewelry box valued at $30, a gold ring valued at $250, a high school class ring valued at $150, diamond earrings valued at $150, a cluster diamond ring valued at $200, a gold diamond wedding set with an unknown value, a diamond ring valued at $350, a black Onyx necklace valued at $150, a silver and gold watch valued at $50, a gold heart diamond pendant valued at $150 and an assortment of costume jewelry valued at $100 were reported stolen Tuesday at 3:56 p.m. from the 40 block of Blue Creek.
City man charged with third DUI
A Vicksburg man was charged Tuesday night with third-offense driving under the influence, a felony.
Jermaine Harris, 28, 1310 Crawford St., was arrested by the Vicksburg police at Clay Street and Interstate 20. He was in the Warren County Jail on a $10,000 bond, said Sgt. Sandra Williams.
