Jason Reid Nevels died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at his home. He was 29.

Mr. Nevels was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and a graduate of Vicksburg High School. He was an honor graduate of Hinds Community College. He was a member of Goodrum Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Warren Nevels Jr. and Nathea Nevels of Vicksburg; a daughter, Hannah Harrison of Madison; a brother, Scott Nevels of Nashville; a sister Keeley Haigh of Vicksburg; grandfather, Warren Nevels Sr. of Vicksburg; three nieces and one nephew.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Andy Haigh, Trey Peebles, Billy Peebles Jr., Jacob Ross and Alton Wittner.
