Services for Caldine L. Younger will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Vicksburg Family Life Cathedral with Pastor Betty Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home and Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.

Mrs. Younger died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 53.

Born in Warren County, Mrs. Younger was a registered nurse. She was a member of Family Life Cathedral and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Sr. and Celestine Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Younger; three sons, Eric Younger and Tyree Younger, both of Vicksburg, and Sammie Younger of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Sylvester Johnson of Memphis; two sisters, Shirley Antwine and Pearl Bowman, both of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
