Services for Nicie Bingham Young will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Ararat M.B. Church with the Rev. T.J. Mooreland officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Young died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 92.

Mrs. Young was born in Warren County. A homemaker, she was a member of Excelsior Chapter No. 349 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Mount Ararat M.B. Church, where she was on the mother board.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Young; her parents, Willie and Robert Robinson Bingham; and four brothers, Charlie Bingham, David Bingham, Edward Bingham and Roosevelt Bingham.

Survivors include two daughters, Savannah Young McCoy of Arlington, Va., and Shirlene Young Ward of Jackson; one sister, Florence Bingham Green of Vicksburg; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
