Services for Ida Mae Myers will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Myers died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at her home. She was 63.

She retired after 40 years as head cook at Beechwood Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ella Mae Myers; a son, Danny Earl Myers; four brothers, Joe Lewis Myers, Robert J. Smith Sr., J.D. Myers and Willie Myers; and two sisters, Helen Lee Smith and Johnnie Lee Mitchell.

Survivors include two sons, Dickey Myers and David Myers, both of Vicksburg; a sister, Ella M. Scott of Saginaw, Mich.; two brothers, Herman Myers of Vicksburg and Matthew Myers of Mansfield, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
