The engagement of Bridgett Ann Lee and Christopher Scott Steele, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Nov. 22, 2008, at Bovina Baptist Church. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Lee is the daughter of Lora Lee and Daniel Johnson and Chuck Lee, all of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Shirley and Bobby Brogdon and Shirley Brock, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Steele is the son of Cecil Jr. and Esther Steele of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Luz Moreno of Detroit, Mich.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of Choices, Girls Club and the National Art Honor Society. She was an All-Star football cheerleader.

She attended West Georgia College and is pursuing a degree from Mississippi College.

The prospective groom is employed with Standifer Construction.
