Kelly Earl Watson

PORT GIBSON — Kelly Earl Watson died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 10.

Kelly was a fifth-grade student at A.W. Watson Elementary School, where he was selected Mr. Fifth Grade. He was a member of Springhill M.B. Church.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Watson of Port Gibson; his father, Kelly E. Hill of Port Gibson; five brothers, Marcus D. Tenner Jr., Ikeem L. Watson and Jaylen Truitt, all of Port Gibson, and Tierre Hill and KenJarvis Thomas, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Kewanna Hill of Port Gibson and Jaquanda Hill of Vicksburg; his maternal grandparents, Sarah Watson-Truitt and Melvin Watson, both of Port Gibson; his paternal grandmother, Geneva Hill of Port Gibson; his paternal great-grandmother, Willie B. Hill of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends, including Marcus Tenner Sr. of Fayette and Adrionna Lyons of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Port Gibson High School gymnasium with Earnest Hall officiating. Burial will be at Springhill M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home and Saturday at the gymnasium from 10 a.m. until the service.
