The engagement of Brittany Kay Toney to John Anderson Thomason IV, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13, 2008, at Trinity Baptist Church.

Miss Toney is the daughter of Charles A. Toney Jr. and Debra B. Marshall, both of Vicksburg.

Mr. Thomason is the son of LaDonna A. Thomason and the late John A. Thomason III of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is attending Louisiana Technical College, where she will graduate in December with a degree in nursing.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Midway Christian and a 2005 graduate of Hinds Community College. He is employed with Hercules Offshore.
