Services for Ella Lee Brent Woods will be at noon Saturday at Bethlehem M.B. Church with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Second Union Cemetery in Claiborne County under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Woods died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 80.

Born in Claiborne County, Mrs. Woods was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethlehem M.B. Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Woods Sr.; a son, Johnnie Woods Jr.; one brother, J.M. Brent; her father, Walter Brent; and her mother, Eliza Brent Price.

She is survived by three sons, Eddie Brent, Matthew Woods and Ira Trent Woods, all of Vicksburg; four daughters, Elsa McGowan, Ardella Wardley, Terrizena Woods and Jacqueline Swartz, all of Vicksburg; grandchildren, including Stephanie Woods whom she reared; and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
