Elvira F. Butler

Services for Elvira F. Butler will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem M.B. Church with the Rev. Henry Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Butler died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 70.
A Warren County native, Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. She was a member of the Willing Workers Club and served on the usher board for St. Luke and Bethlehem M.B. churches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Butler; a son, Freddie Lee Butler; and her father, Johnny Figures.
Survivors include her mother, Henrietta Singletary of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Roenia De-Loach of Savannah, Ga.; two brothers, Reginald Brown and Michael Brown, both of Jackson; four grandchildren, including Mathis Lee whom she reared; and two great-grandchildren.
