Frankie B. Reaves

BENTONIA — Frankie B. Reaves died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at her home in Bentonia. She was 66.

Born in Yazoo County, Mrs. Reaves was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a former owner of Vicksburg Bowling and had worked as director of transportation for Isle of Capri casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Reaves; her mother, Evelyn Terrell; her father, J.C. Brown; and three brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristie Green of Bentonia; three sons, Ken Henderson and Michael Henderson, both of Bentonia, and Damon Henderson of Vicksburg; two stepsons, Kenny Reaves of Vicksburg and Richard Moore of Bentonia; one stepdaughter, Donna Reaves of Vicksburg; two sisters, Vivian Haddad of Clinton and Dean Smith of Vicksburg; one brother, Carroll Brown of Memphis; nine grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City with the Rev. Darby Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yazoo County. Visitation will from be 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Haddad, Todd Wilson, Jeff Gordon, Warren Brown, Chris Rast and Jimmy Nevels.
