A ram found wandering in Sherwood Forest subdivision was returned to its owner.

The black Suffolk ram belonged to Fisher Ferry Road resident Gary Cooper, said neighbor Penny George, in whose care the animal had been for a week.

Information leading to its return came from a tip from the public after a report of the sheep being lost was published last week, George said. The ram had gone missing at least once before, she said.
