A Vicksburg man stabbed his roommate Wednesday night and will spend the weekend in the Warren County Jail, Sheriff Martin Pace said today.

Jess Frost, 42, 100 Jones Road, Lot 13, was charged with aggravated domestic violence after an argument Wednesday night escalated into assault.

Deputies responded around 9:30 to a call from River Region Medical Center that a stabbing victim had come to the emergency room. After taking the report, deputies went to the residence but were unable to locate Frost until after midnight, when he was found walking along U.S. 61 South.

Frost will be held pending his initial hearing Monday, Pace said.

The victim was admitted to the hospital, where he was in stable condition this morning.
