Vicksburg woman treated after her car hits tree

A Vicksburg woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon at Henry and Oak Ridge roads.

A vehicle driven by Cealia Dickerson, 33, 501 Fairways Drive, hit a tree. No other details about the wreck were available.

Dickerson was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, said a hospital spokesman.

Stabbed roommate released from hospital

A Vicksburg man hospitalized early Thursday morning with stab wounds has been released from River Region Medical Center, a spokesman said.

The victim was stabbed by his roommate, Jess Frost, 42, 100 Jones Road, Lot 13, following an argument, said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

Frost has been charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Gun, jewelry missing on Green Hill Drive

A residential burglary in the 100 block of Green Hill Drive was reported Monday at 6:43 p.m., Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

A pistol of unknown make and model valued at $200 and assorted jewelry valued at $500 were reported stolen.
