John Anthony Kelly died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Promise Hospital. He was 55.

Mr. Kelly was born in Vicksburg and worked as a truck driver. He attended the Unity Baptist Church in Pattison.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Jane Kelly; and his parents, John Allen and Annie Mae Kelly.

Mr. Kelly is survived by a son, John Benjamin Kelly of Vicksburg; a daughter, Amber Rebecca Hankins of Hattiesburg; a brother, Paul Kelly of Vicksburg; a sister, Kathy Hall of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service.
