“A Christmas Carol,” a dinner theater, will be at 6 tonight and Thursday at the St. Aloysius High School cafeteria. Tickets are $15 per person, and can be purchased at the door or by calling 601-636-2256. Advance purchase is encouraged.

About 35 seventh- through 12th-graders will be involved in “A Christmas Carol,” said Jennifer Henry, chief administrator of Vicksburg Catholic School and principal of St. Francis Xavier Elementary.

“For us, it’s new — the dinner theater idea,” she said, adding that this week’s shows are in addition to the school’s yearly spring production.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the door or in advance. Patrons are encouraged to book ahead so the school can give the caterer an estimate of how many people will attend, Henry said. Call 601-636-2256 for reservations.

Henry said the Christmas show is one way of trying to ramp up arts at the private, parochial school, which serves kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
