GLEN ALLAN — Rheta T. Stephenson died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was 73.

Mrs. Stephenson was a native of Utica and had lived in Glen Allan for the past 38 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Washington Baptist Church in Glen Allan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce C. Stephenson; and a brother, John Tompkins.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mollie Arkin of Decatur, Ga., and Margaret Brigham of Glen Allan; and a halfsister, Tina Smith of Brookhaven.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lake Washington Baptist Church in Glen Allan with the Rev. Jimmy McClendon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery in Glen Allan with Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork in charge of arrangements.
