Margie Ruth Katzenmeyer died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, in Ocean Springs. She was 86.

A native of Forest City, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Myra Davis Poland. She lived most of her life in Vicksburg, where she was a former member of Highland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Katzenmeyer; and two sons, Bill Nelson and Michael Shepard.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Williams and Brenda Williams, both of Pascagoula, and Jean Warren of Mathiston; three sons, Gordon Ross of Pascagoula, Bobby Nelson of Vicksburg and Thomas Williams of Altooma, Pa.; and two sisters, Myra Horton and Claudine Stewart.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Carl Stewart, John Wallace Roberts, Ronald Horton, Lester Lola, Merritt Aden and Keith Rankin.
