James Donald Overstreet died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 40.

Born in Vicksburg, he was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and was a member of Vicksburg Pride band from fifth grade through his senior year.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Mary Frances Baker; and by his paternal grandparents, Mack and Nona Overstreet.

He is survived by his parents, Max and Judy Overstreet of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private family services were conducted under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
