Martha Renae Delaughter

Martha Renae Delaughter went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008. She was 51.

Ms. Delaughter was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She was a member of Berachah Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Parker; her stepfather, James P. Jackson; and a brother, Anthony Jackson.

She is survived by her fiancé, Darrell Scallions; her mother, Linda Jackson McLeod; three daughters, Tonya Cole, Jamey Lynn Kurtz and husband Shawn and Brittney Delaughter, all of Vicksburg; one son, Jimbo Lusby and wife Jennifer of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, Russell Cole, Joshua Cole, Brandon Cole, Carson Kurtz, Falyn Lusby and Taryn Lusby; four brothers, James Parker and wife Lanessa, Roger Jackson, Francis L. Jackson and wife Sherry, all of Crystal Springs, and Steve Earles of Vicksburg; three sisters, Pam Jackson West and husband Rusty of Athens, Ala., Linda Jackson Bishop and husband Kevin and Mandy Jackson Adams and husband Chris of Vicksburg; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Junior Scallions, Chris Scallions, Danny Joe Wicker, Mike Wicker, Hunter Rogers and Michael Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe McBroom and Suzie Nevels.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Berachah Church with Roger Cresswell officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Berachah Youth Group, 2918 Fisher Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
