Mr. Ross Cecil Cloud died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, of a lengthy illness at home.

A native of Vicksburg, he was 66 years old. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Cloud was a member of the Teamsters union, for which he drove for more than 15 years. He later worked for Ameristar for 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ellie Cloud.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Cloud; his son, Kevin Cloud (Karen); and two grandchildren, Michael and Madison. He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Aultman of Texas.

Services will be held at a later time. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.
