BATON ROUGE — James Henry Caston Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Vicksburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 78.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Lila Caston.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Overcast Caston; his son, James H. Caston III, and daughter, Mary Susan Caston, both of Atlanta; two stepdaughters, Roxie Parker and Sherry Wright; and three granddaughters, Alexis Milneck, Jana Parker and Sarah Parker.

Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Fisher Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
