Car stereo equipment reported stolen in city

Radios were targeted in two auto burglaries reported to Vicksburg police Friday, said Sgt. Larry Holloway.

At 8:46 a.m., a Pioneer radio valued at $150 was reported stolen from a white 1996 Nissan SUV parked in the 3000 block of Washington Street. About $150 in damages to the dashboard was also reported.

At 8:54 a.m., a JVC radio valued at $100 was reported stolen from a 1983 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 600 block of Cain Ridge Road.

City man jailed on warrants

A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail Friday on outstanding warrants.

James Henderson, 28, 1005 Urban Court, was arrested by Vicksburg police at 12:35 p.m. Bond had not yet been set.
