STARKVILLE – John Hevesy is the latest addition to football coach Dan Mullen’s staff at Mississippi State, the athletic department announced Tuesday.

Hevesy has spent the past eight seasons coaching with Mullen, including the past four year as a member of the University of Florida coaching staff, where he spent time working with both the tight ends and the offensive line.

“John and I have spent most of the past decade together and we have a great relationship,” Mullen said. “And his presence on this staff brings even more championship experience.”

Hevesy has coached in four BCS bowls, including Florida’s 2006 and 2008 National Championship Game victories.
