HERMANVILLE — Ezekial Jenkins died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at his home in Hermanville. He was 51.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his parents, T.J. and Dorothy Jenkins of Hermanville; a son, Randy Shorter of Utica; three brothers, David L. Jenkins, Luster Jenkins and A.J. Jenkins, all of Hermanville; seven sisters, Ebbie M. Jenkins, Rosalyn M. Jenkins, Ruth Shorter and Gennie Jenkins, all of Hermanville, Deanna Shorter of Jackson, Alma J. Herverlin of Vicksburg and Helen Cox of Natchez; four grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Robert Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Hermanville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Wednesday at the church from noon until the service.
