Keyes to wed Clay March 28

Robert and Cindy Keyes of Edwards announce the engagement of their daughter, Cori Michelle, to Robert Dale Clay. Mr. Clay is the son of Lila Wansley of Richland and Virgil Clay of Vicksburg.

Miss Keyes is the granddaughter of the late Leon and Inez Britton of Vicksburg and the late Joe and Emma Keyes of Tallulah.

Mr. Clay is the grandson of the late Floyd and Lorein Reynolds of Cary and the late Albert and Sathronia Clay of Blyville, Ark.

The bride-elect attended St. Aloysius High School and graduated in 2003 from Warren Central High School. She served as a basketball cheerleader and was a member of the Flashettes dance team, basketball team, Key Club, band, FBLA and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She received an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Sciences in dental hygiene from Mississippi Delta Community College. She was a Delta Dancer and a member of the National Technical Honor Society, Student Government Association, Christian Student Center and Who’s Who Among American Junior Colleges.

Miss Keyes received the Mississippi Dental Hygiene Association 2007 Student of the Year award.

The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Porters Chapel Academy.

Mr. Clay is manager of Palmer Farms of Edwards.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. March 28, 2009, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow.
