Mr. and Mrs. Milton Clarence Ewing III of Anguilla announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Clare of Keller, Texas, to Eric Paul Seichrist, also of Keller. Mr. Seichrist is the son of Valerie Alday and Lee Alday, both of Omaha, Neb.

Miss Ewing is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Sherman and the late Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Ewing Jr.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of St. Andrew’s School  in Sewanee, Tenn., where she was on the tennis team.

She attended the University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Delta State School of Nursing. She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi.

Miss Ewing is a nurse in the Hemotology-Oncology Clinic of Cook Children’s Hospital.

The prospective groom is a 1994 graduate of Mead Senior High School.

Mr. Seichrist is a senior IT auditor at Textron in Fort Worth, Texas.

Vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. March 7, 2009, at The Eden in Pensacola, Fla. A reception will follow.
