Carolyn Ann Dacus

RICHLAND, Miss. — Carolyn Ann Dacus died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in Richland, Miss. She was 67.

Mrs. Dacus was born in St. Joseph, lived most of her life in Stafford, Texas, and had lived in Richland for the past two years. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Holman Earl Dacus; her mother, Pauline Gilbreath Dacus; and a brother, Robert Ben Dacus.

Survivors include four sisters, Margie Arrington of Richland, JoEllen Mitchell of Shreveport, La., Glenda Stanley of Transylvania, La., and Vicki Thompson of Benton, La.; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. J.T. Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rob Wilcox, Toby Sullivan, David Wiley, Jerry Gilbreath, Travis Hancock and John Coker.
