PORT GIBSON — Cordelia E. Heath died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 94.

Mrs. Heath was born in Claiborne County to the late Elnora Brown and Square Jackson.

She had worked as a packer for National Plastic and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, John Heath of Grand Rapids, Mich.; four daughters, Cor-delia Faye Heath and Juette Byrd, both of Port Gibson, Elnor Griffin of Grand Rapids and Rosia Robinson of Moreno Valley, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Ruby Patterson of Port Gibson and Vernon Heath of Grand Rapids.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Rollins Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
