Patricia Reynolds

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Reynolds died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas. She was 79.
Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Louis Augustus Piazza and Ruth Wilson Piazza. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Reynolds in 2002; and by two sisters, Monte P. Jones and Gene P. Breeden.
A graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy, Class of 1947, she was a member of the school basketball team and was drum majorette for the Pep Squad. Mrs. Reynolds retired from Merchants National Bank of Vicksburg. She was a member of Green Hill Garden Club and other civic organizations.
Mrs. Reynolds was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 898 Ladies Auxiliary, a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church and a member of the St. Paul Altar Society.
She is survived by two daughters, Val R. Hosemann and her husband, H. Gerald, and Robin R. Brennan and her husband, Sean, all of Houston, Texas; a brother, Louis A. Piazza of Irvine, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Jerry Hosemann Jr., Shannon Hosemann, Anna Claire Hankamer, Sean Brennan Jr., Beth Brennan, Catherine Brennan, John Louis Brennan and Kaitlin Brennan, all of Houston; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor Patrick Farrell as celebrant. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Riles Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be Thursday from 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Hosemann, Sean Brennan Jr., John Louis Brennan, Richard Hankamer, Mel Breeden, Tom Balmer, Jimmy Halford and Louis Theobald III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Hosemann Jr., David Hosemann, Shannon Jones Jr., Dr. Douglas G. Holt, Martin Pace, Sam Lusco, Carl Cappaert, A.L. Sullivan and James L. Waring.
