Services for Jessie Mae Stewart will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Stewart died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 74.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Hollandale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Stewart and Virginia Newell Stewart Holmes; her husband, Bennie Stewart; one daughter, Osie Mae Stewart Crumb; five sisters, Georgia M. Allen, Ruby L. Clinkscale, Rachel Holmes, Virginia Holmes and Geneva Holmes Howard; four brothers, Sylvester Stewart, Arthur L. Holmes, Walter T. Holmes and Samuel L. Holmes.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Stewart Peters of Ridgeland and Louise Stewart Trueheart of Vicksburg; a son, Eugene Stewart of Vicksburg; one brother, Warren G. Holmes of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one sister, Ollie Bell of Memphis; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
