It’s tax time

Published 12:00 am Sunday, February 15, 2009

Ken Washington, right, gets help from Peggie Marx filing his income taxes. Marx is with the AARP Tax-Aide program. She, an 18-year veteran of the service, and others will gather from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Wednesday through April 15 at the Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library. The service is free and is for people with moderate to low incomes, preferably 60 and older — but no one will be turned away. Clients should bring their W2 forms, a copy of their 2007 tax return and other pertinent records. For information, call 601-636-6267 or visit www.aarp.org. (Suzanne Feliciano*The Vicksburg Post)
