Two Southern Miss football players, including the school’s all-time leading rusher, were arrested late Sunday night at a Hattiesburg apartment complex, the Hattiesburg American reported on its Web site this morning.
Running back Damion Fletcher, who last season broke the all-time school rushing record, was arrested for discharging a firearm, the American reported. The newspaper also reported that USM player Brennan Houston was charged with possession of marijuana.
Both players were bonded out of Forrest County Jail early this morning, the American reported.
