City man charged in May burglary

A Vicksburg man was arrested Thursday and charged with a burglary at a home on May 22.

Joseph P. Hasty, 25, 150 Cain Ridge Road, had been sought for the burglary in the 100 block of Bottino Drive in which prescription drugs were taken, said Warren County Investigator Todd Dykes.

Hasty, who surrendered to the sheriff’s department, was linked to the burglary by DNA evidence, Dykes said.

He was released from the Warren County Jail on a $2,500 bond. His case is expected to be heard by the Warren County grand jury that convenes in May.
